Our invited speaker, Mr. Jean Saint-Geours, economist at the International Finance Corporation (IFC) provides a detailed overview of key reform initiatives and how they help facilitate agricultural finance, reduce post-harvest losses, improve the stability of market prices, ensure food security, and stimulate agribusiness development.

Jean Saint-Geours, Economist, Trade and Competitiveness, International Finance Corporation (IFC)
Jean Saint-Geours has been working for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) since 2012, first in Washington DC, and now as an Economist in the Istanbul Office. He is the co-global lead for the World Bank Group's Trade and Competitiveness Global Practice's work on warehouse receipts financing reform. Prior to joining the IFC, he worked for an international retail firm and for a management consultancy. He holds a Master's degree in Management from ESCP Europe and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
