Mr. Carlos P. Budar Mejía is the Chief Operating Officer of Agrofinanzas. He has more than eighteen years of experience in the financial and agribusiness sector. Before joining Agrofinanzas in 2008, Mr. Budar served as the CFO and Head of the Risk Management Department and later Chief Credit Officer at FIRA, a leading government-owned agribusiness bank in Mexico. Mr. Budar began his professional career at Mexico´s Central Bank. He holds a BA degree in actuarial science from Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University, where he graduated with honors.
